| A strange request for myself
Hey guys,
I know this is a strange request but I need the mojo big time to help me move to the next stage of my life.
Some of you may know that my mother died last year from ALS and I have been staying in her house. The agreement with my sister, who inherited it, was for two years (because of the inequalities of the split) to even out the money without either of us being out of pocket. But, in her *way*, the minute the house was in her name she evicted me. I'm quite ready though to be rid of a person who searches my room, reads my diary then uses the information to try and convince me my friends are truly "her spies" (her words), eavesdrops on my phone calls, hacked my email, followed me when I went out, blah, blah, blah, you get the idea.
My strange request is that I'm asking for some mojo to get the apartment I'm going to look at this afternoon. It's really a gem and frankly, I need it for my own health; mental, physical and emotional.
I'd really appreciate the help from you fine folks in this.

Thanks guys. I went to see the two apartments available in the same historic building and made a deposit on one. If I pass the checks I'm in so things are working so far.
I know mojo is mostly for physical illnesses but sometimes emotional stress can make you physically ill and I feel like I've been in a stifling fog for over a year now.
Thanks for the good thoughts for my off-beat request, every bit helps that's for sure

Although around here, Mojo pretty much stays a monkey.

Thanks everyone. I found out a few minutes ago that I GOT THE APARTMENT!!!!
It's strange, all day the frustration about not knowing has been building to the point where I just wanted to cry. I had to go to an appointment, leaving about 3:15. On the way there, I suddenly realized that I was calm again, and remained calm. When I got back I booted the computer, opened my email and there was an email from the landlord. Of course, when it opened it seemed to take forever, then I read the glorious words "we have approved your application".
I am so happy right now I can't even verbalize it

Sorry to hear you have a sibling who does you that way. I had my siblings hurt me in bad ways in the past as well, but today we are all close and do well together. Perhaps she will see the err of her ways.
Way to go on your move! Apartments are smaller, but you will have at least more privacy unless your landlord comes in nosing around, which some do do, even though it is illegal. I suggest getting renter's insurance if you can afford it and bolting your computer case with a padlock to your desk in case of any breakins.
I hope it proves to be a nice place for you to live!
Years ago I lived in some nice apartments in Houston and Tucson, with pools and hot tubs, I miss those digs!

Just wanted to give you all an update.
I'm all moved in, but nowhere near all unpacked Instead of being able to relax on my first night I had to deal with sister needing to be 'diffused' because I moved my utilities with me. Instead of simply calling and starting her own accounts (because only she can) she was threatening to sue me to 'return' Comcast and the electric, saying that I had put them in my name without her permission (as my mother's trustee). She called both companies and told them that she'd just returned from a trip and discovered I'd done a name change. The flaw in her plan though is that she had signed off on the Comcast name change last September and the electric change last October. Now she's claiming the companies are lying because in all those months, she never noticed that the bills were in my name, even though she got the mail most days.
And the movers accidentally grabbed a crate of files so, instead of asking if I had them, she called the cops claiming I stole them. Needless to say, I'm glad to be rid of her.

Though I'm thinking it was mostly an act on her part in order to try and get me again. I never told her what I was doing but she knew what was happening before the shut off dates. When I called the utilities, they had notes that she called days earlier saying that she was me, but she didn't know my SS#. She called before her 'freak out', so it was all just another of her mind games. She pulled my father in, but simple facts won out and he's smartened up. She's really sweet when you fall for her lines, but once you understand what's going on, she will try anything to destroy you.
